Steve Gerritsen is an entrepreneur who specializes in sales and marketing, business development, and management. He started his first company, Rocky Mountain Low Vision LLC (RMLV), a magnification device provider, at age 21, the same month he started college. Steve led RMLV, growing it until a successful exit eight years later.
Steve later founded a sports marketing company, Advanced Sports Marketing LLC, working as a certified NFLPA agent for professional athletes. He helped obtain contracts for his clients with teams in the NFL, NFL Europe, the Canadian Football League and the Arena Football League. Later he worked for New York based EMS Financial Services as the Assistant VP of Sales, before becoming their Director of Operations.
He was a partner in the startup Empee Solutions which launched the Lifter Hamper, a product that was featured on ABC TV’s hit show “Shark Tank” and satellite and cable shopping channel QVC. Additionally, Steve helped the company gain product distribution in the US, Canada and Japan before the company licensed the Lifter Hamper to an industry leader in the household products market.
Steve had a second stint as a certified NFLPA agent, first working with Pantheon Talent before forming Gerritsen Sports and Entertainment.
Currently, Steve is the Founder and CEO of WatchSports.com, a revenue sharing sports video platform. He is the Executive Producer of the documentary “MAFU Mentality: The Ron McBride Story” which is nearing completion. Steve is also the President of Marketing 160, a digital marketing company.
Steve received his Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from the University of Utah.
